Quick Quote

The Quick Quote function is found on the left hand navigation menu on all pages. The Quick Quote function allows you to quickly and easily view market information for securities listed on the NZX, ASX, US and UK.

You can view market price, security details, depth, historic charts and news (announcements) for the security you've selected.

To retrieve a quote for a security, select the exchange (NZ, AU, US and UK) and enter the Security Code into the box and click "Go".

If you are not sure of the security code then enter a partial company name followed by a * in the security code field and then click Go. A list of companies that match the partially entered name will be displayed so you can find the one you're looking for.

An example of the quote screen is shown below and displays the intraday chart for your chosen security, along with market trading volumes and values.

The Quote detail is live when you are signed on and delayed by at least 20 minutes if you are not.

The quote information shown (Last, VWAP, Buy, Sell, High, Low, First) represents on market trading of the security. Volume and Value represents all trading of the security, including off market.
